A mixture of rice and urad dal that has been soaked in water is ground finely to form a batter. The batter is allowed to sit overnight and ferment.
A thin layer of the batter is then ladled onto a hot tava. Here we use cheese for greaseing the tava
Ingredients
1) grated cheese2) rice and urad dal
3) chopped onion
4) chopped Small bunch fresh coriander
5) chopped green chillies
6) tsp salt
7) Oil
How to make Cheese Dosas
Add salt to rice and dal paste and leave covered for about 8 hours. Grease a flat tava very lightly.. Pour a ladleful of mixture on the tava and spread it quickly with the back of the ladle. Pour a little oil on the sides and cover for a few seconds. Uncover and add a tablespoon of grated Cheese, a few bits of green chillies, onion and fresh coriander. Fold over and serve .
