How to make Vellarika Pachadi

This dish is usually used to serve with sadhya.



Ingredients

1) Vellarika (cucumber)
2) Coconut
3) Green Chilly
4) Salt
5) Coconut oil
6)  Mustard seed
7)  Curry leaves
8) butter milk



How to make Vellarika Pachadi 


1) Peel the cucumber and cut into small pieces.
2) In a pressure cooker, add water, slit green chilly, cucumber pieces and cook.
3) Grind coconut and butter milk to a fine paste.


4) Add this paste to the cooked cucumber and bring to boil.  Splutter mustard seeds in coconut oil, add  curry  leaves and pour it over the pachadi.
