Rasam is a south indian soup it is traditionally prepared by below step.nowadays we get rasam powder with which we can made very easily.
2. Chilly powder
3. Coriander powder
4. Pepper powder
5. Turmeric powder
6. Garlic
7. Oil
8. Dry red chilly
9. Mustard seeds
10. Curry leaves
11. Coriander leaves
12. Salt
13. Asafoetida (Kayam)
1) Cut tomatoes to small pieces, add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
2) To this add all the powders and garlic and bring to boil. Switch off the flame.
3) In another pan, add oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add dry red chilly and curry leaves.
4) Pour this into rasam soup. Add coriander leaves and serve.
