How to make Drumstick flower peera/thoran




Ingredients

1) Drumstick flowers
2) Onions
3) Capsicum
4) Green chillies
5) Boiled and minced meat
6) Coconut
7) Ginger
8) Green tomatoes
9) Salt
10) Mustard seeds
11)  Raw rice
12) Oil
13) Egg
14)Curry leaves

How to make Drumstick flower peera/thoran




Wash the drumstick flowers and keep in a basket and drain. Clean and cut vegetables into fine  slices and keep separately. Heat fat in a pan. Add rice and mustard seeds. When they splutter, add finely chopped small onions. When this turns brown add the flower and stir. Then add the capsicum, chillies, sliced big onions and ginger. Stir for two more minutes. Add green tomatoes and cover with the lid. When the mixture is almost dry, add minced meat and coconut. Steam for a minute or two . open the lid, stir it with a fork and add beaten egg. When the egg is cooked, add curry leaves and serve with rice or chapaties.
