How to make Chakka curry( jackfruit with coconut)


Ingredients

1) Jackfruit(raw)
2) Cumin
3) Red onions
4) Coconut
5) Turmeric
6) Green chillies
7) Salt
8) Curry leaves

To temper

1) Oil
2) Red onions
3) Mustard seeds
4) Garlic

How to make Chakka curry( jackfruit with coconut)


Cut jack fruit . cut off the white pith on the top. With oiled hand separate fruit, remove seeds and slice into thin, long pieces. In a big strong pan, put in the prepared jackfruit. Add salt and sprinkle a little water over. Cover tightly and cook quickly. Grind together cumin, green chillies turmeric and onions. Add coconut and grind coarsely. Make a well in the centre of the jackfruit. Add ground paste. Cover with the jack fruit. Add ground paste. Cover with the jackfruit and allow steam to pass through. Stir and mix well. Add curry leaves. .  Heat oil in a fry pan.  Add sliced onion and split black gram. When they brown, add mustard seeds
